The Ultimate SAT Resource for A Level StudentsĀ - Advice from a 1550 scorer

I'm so excited you're checking out theĀ SAT for A Level Students Study Guide! šŸŽ‰

First of all, I'd like you to know, this Study Guide holds aĀ very special placeĀ in my heart.

It is something I wish existed from the day I first googled 'What is the SAT?'

And that's whyĀ every wordĀ in this Study Guide is written in an effort to save you time and stress and ultimatelyĀ increase your SAT score.

By the end of the guide, you'll:

  • Know exactly how the SAT compares to A Levels and GCSEs

  • Schedule when you're going to do this work with 3 comprehensive study plans

  • Get a deep dive into the strategies and insights that took me from a 1310 to a 1550

But don't just take my word for it. Here's what Harvard graduate Mary Photiades had to say about it:

"In the SAT for A Level Students Study Guide, Tanay openly shares about his experience with the SATs, his journey of getting a near-perfect score by leveraging his A-level education, and actionable advice that you can implement in order to maximize your chances of success. But you may still have questions about the guide or generally be a bit skeptical...

  1. Will this be worth my time and money?

  2. Who the hell is 'Tanay Tandon' to tell me what to do?

So here are my answers to that:

  1. Time and Money

Time - Given most of us read about 200 words a minute, theĀ Study GuideĀ will occupy aboutĀ 20 minutesĀ of your day. That’s just a few minutes more than your average Youtube video andĀ a lotĀ shorter than your average Netflix binge.

So forgo Queen's Gambit for tonight. This guide will probably do a whole lot more for your academic future.

Money - Frankly, I'm not doing this for monetary gain. Students and teachers alike have told me I should charge more for it. But the only reason this has a price at all is because I've noticed any digital product I get for free, I just never seem to use.

Nevertheless, if you go through the study guide and feel it didn't add a coffee's worth of value to your SAT journey, drop me a message and I'll refund you -- no questions asked!

  1. Why Tanay Tandon?

Very justifiable question. Well firstly, IĀ won'tĀ tell you what to do in this Study Guide.

Instead I'll take you through my experience taking the SAT twice (scoring aĀ 1410Ā the first time and aĀ 1550Ā the second time) and thenĀ analyseĀ what works for us as A Level students and what doesn't.

I'm simply trying toĀ save you timeĀ that you can spend watching Netflix or doing practice questions!

And secondly, this guide has been checked and improved upon by teachers that played an instrumental role in my journey to getting aĀ 1550 through self-study — so this study guide is not just me with my crazy ideas! šŸ’”
